معصوم پھولوں کی شہادت کی سوچ سے آنکھیں اشک بار ہیں، ٹیوٹر پروفائل سے پریزیڈنٹ جیو ٹی وی کا عہدہ ہٹا دیا گیا۔ جیو انٹرٹینمنٹ کے پریذیڈنٹ ڈاکٹر عامر لیاقت حسین نے شہدائے پشاور کی تضحیک پر جیو ٹی وی کی صدارت سے استعفیٰ دیتے ہوئے سماجی ابلاغ کی ویب سائٹ ٹوئیٹر پر اپنے پیغامات میں کہا کہ میں پروگرام ایک میزبان کی حیثیت سے جاری رکھوں گا،لائوڈ اسپیکر بھی کالم نگار کی حیثیت سے لکھتا رہوں گا۔معصوم شہداء کی مائوں سے معافی کا طلب گار ہوں جن کے غم آج جیو نیوز دیکھ تازہ ہوگئے۔ نیوز کاسٹرزکو یونی فارم پہن کرمذاق بنانے کے بجائے دہشت گردی کے خلاف بہادری سے مقابلے کا پیغام پہنچانا چاہیے ۔ اس صورت حال پر سخت دل گرفتہ ہوں کہ یہ سب کچھ میرے چینل پر ہوا جس کے انٹرٹینمنٹ چینل کا میں صدر ہوں۔ جیو نیوز کے نیوز کاسٹرز کے اس شرمناک عمل پر سخت تشویش لاحق اور افسردگی ہے کہ آرمی پبلک اسکول کی یونی فارم پہن کر خبریں نشر کی جارہی ہیں۔ یہ شرمناک فعل شہدائے پشاور سے کسی طور یکجہتی نہیں، بلکہ جذبات مجروح کرنے کے مترادف ہے۔ یہ صرف نگاہ شہداء کی مائوں کے غم میں اضافے کا باعث ہے جنہوں نے اپنے معصوم لخت جگر قربان کردیے۔ ۱۶ دسمبر مزدوروں، خواتین، کینسر یا ایڈز کا عالمی دن نہیں کہ جسے اس طرح منایا جائے۔ میں نے انتہائی افسردگی کے عالم میں ادارے کے اعلیٰ عہدیداران سے احتجاج کیا مگر کسی نے بھی جواب کی زحمت نہیں کی، میرے لیے یہ رویہ بھی ناقابل فہم ہے۔
I am resigning as a President of GEO Entertainment because I am not heard here but It will not stop from standing for the right. I will continue doing my programmes just as an anchor and will continue writing columns as I was doing before. I am in extremely grieved by the shocking act of #GEONews to dress anchors in the uniforms of APS students it is a senseless act. This is not solidarity but utter nonsense to seek more attention and to hurt feelings may be un intentionaly but they are doing it. This ignorance will cost us the unaffordable pain of those mothers who lost their loved ones. It is an extremely sensitive matter. 16th December is not like cancer month, aids day, labour day or etc that we show solidarity this way... Tomorrow same newscasters will take off this uniform,completely ignoring pain the families and those students have suffered. I'm extremely upset and recorded my protest to high ups of organisation. No body is responding at the moment. shocking attitude. In same uniform they are going to deliver every sort of news related to entertainment, happiness, in fact news about India too. If this is solidarity then newscasters should wear army caps and uniform of Soldiers because we have Jawans martyring everyday. I am extremely upset that this has happened in my channel. The same channel I am the President of entertainment in. Newscasters should have conveyed the message of determination, bravery and to stand against terrorism instead of wearing uniform. Does wearing these uniform means that no news from India ( responsible for the massacre) would be broadcasted? You can see my profile I have removed President of GEO Network.
