Terbela Dam is one of the larges erath filled dam of world and second largest by its structure. Its is situated near Terbela town district Haripur in kpk province Pakistan about 50 Km of Islamabad. It was completed in 1976 and purposely it was designed to store water from the Indus River for irrigation, flood control, and hydroponic power generation.
