| All old designed currency notes of Rs 10, Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 1000 will be closed to be legal tender from December 01 this year. The State Bank of Pakistan issued a press release regarding this. The people have been asked to exchange these old designed currency notes from banks till November 30, 2016. After November 30, all old designed currency notes will only be exchanged from field offices of central bank. |
